Spring 2015 Skyline Drive/Harry MacDonald Center Trash Pickup

On April 18, 2015 a group of AAW members removed 400 pounds of trash from Skyline Drive and the Harry MacDonald Center.

Several times each year the Arctic Air Walkers donate their time and energy to cleaning up the road between Eagle River Loop Road and launch.

Nina's Wall

Several years ago AAW donated funds to the community of Girdwood and Chris for the memorial to his late wife, which adjoins Moose Meadows where gliders land. On July 18th AAW Members assisted with the clearing of invading plants, weeding and planting of new perennials at Nina’s Wall.

Donation to Friends of the CNFAIC

The Arctic Air Walkers recently made a donation to the non profit organization Friends of the Chugach National Forest Avalanche Information Center (CNFAIC)

Harry Mac LZ Cleanup

The Arctic Air Walkers has expanded it's commitment supporting the community by expanding our annual cleanup effort to include not only Skyline Drive but also the Harry Mac LZ, parking lot, and the road between the Old Glenn Highway and the Harry Mac Center.
