While paragliding is relatively easy, doing it right and doing it safely takes good instruction and supervised practice. The United States Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (USHPA) is a national organization that has developed a comprehensive pilot proficiency program utilized by USHPA certified instructors to train pilots. This ensures that new pilots get the foundational training that they need to grow their skills in the safest way possible.
